Remains of St. Joseph's

We had another Sunday with nothing in particular to do, so we ended up driving around town and came upon St. Joseph's Park. St. Joseph's burned down in 1974, and was re-opened as a park in 1980. Now, it's fenced off and locked up... but hey, it's a shady part of town :\

I found some neat photos of the church pre-fire, during the fire and rubble removal at this (kind of odd) site, "Cleansing Fire."

Still, a neat place to see.

There's also a cool old sign painting for Sibley's across the street.
