Yesterday I finished my four-piece "Music Geek" series. They'll be on display (and for sale!) at the Grass Roots Gallery, for their First Friday show on the 3rd.
I loved the process of making these. I think Claybord is the ideal surface for me, it can be washed/drawn on with ink and then scratched away with scratchboard tools, giving the opportunity for both positive (like the red amp) and negative drawing (like the banjo). Love it!
Each piece is on 6x6" board, mounted on 9x9" ink-stained wood.
